Dear Parents and Guardians:
I hope this letter finds you in good health, well rested and enjoying your summer. As we gear up for the new school year I am excited to be joining Incline High School as the new site administrator. I bring 23 years of experience in education to Incline High School.
In my most recent role, I served as an implementation specialist for Washoe County School District. I received and provided extensive training and professional development around planning and effective instructional strategies for K-12 teachers and administrators. My administrative experience includes serving as principal of Sparks Middle School, Assistant Principal at Swope and O’Brien Middle Schools, as well as Dean of Students at O’Brien Middle School. As a classroom teacher, I taught social studies at Galena High School. Prior to that I taught middle school math, science, social studies and P.E. at Natchez Elementary School.
I look forward to meeting you at one of a series of new gatherings we’ve dubbed “Incline Morning Chats.” The Chats are designed to foster communication and community for all who work to support the Highlanders – from a staff and parent/guardian perspective. Please see below for the first series of scheduled Chats when we will invite you to join us for a cup of coffee, tea or a snack and talk with our Highlander leadership team about what is going well, what we need to be aware of, or just “chat”.
Please join me on one of the following dates at 8:30 a.m. so we can get to know one another:
Wednesday, August 13
Wednesday August 20
I look forward to seeing you soon.
