- 8 IHS Students Scored over 2000 on the SAT (top 5% nationally)
- IHS Seniors Accepted into 3 of the Top 10 and 9 of the Top 25 U.S. Universities
- 4 National Merit Finalists (more than from other Washoe schools 5x larger)
- U.S. Presidential Scholar Semifinalist (one of only 6 in Nevada)
- We the People Team State Champions, 12th in the Nation
- Academic Olympics 3rd Place, Washoe County
- State Championship Athletics: Boys Soccer, Boys Basketball,Girls Golf, Boys Wrestling,Cross Country, Track & Field
- JROTC’s Highest Award Honor Unit with Distinction
