Procedure 2

Here we have all of the viles.  Each of them ready to put in the Baths.  The baths used were aluminum tubs filled with water.  One tub contained water at a temperature of approx. 11°C.  This was the cold bath.  The other bath contained water at a temperature of approx. 20°C.  This was the warm bath.  The first two viles on the left contains the germinating peas.  The two middle viles contain the beads (on top) and the non-germinating dry peas (on bottom).   The two viles farthest to the right are the control viles containing only beads.
